Exciting things to do in Toronto ….. aside from dancin’ at Celebrate Dance!

Happy New Year everyone!
Toronto is a great city and I thought I would let you know about some exciting places to visit and things to do while  you are here, aside from having fun with us on the dance floor at Celebrate Dance!
CN TOWER: www.cntower.ca
You might not realize that   “In 1995, the CN Tower was classified as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. The CN Tower shares this designation with the Itaipu Dam on the Brazil/Paraguay border, the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, the Panama Canal, the Chunnel under the English Channel, the North Sea Protection Works off the European coast, and the Empire State Building.”
It takes 58 seconds in the outside elevator overlooking Lake Ontario to reach a height of 346 m (1,136’) to where you will find the revolving Restaurant with its fantastic views over the Lake and the city.   Tip:  Book to go to the restaurant and you don’t have to pay separately to go to the top of the Tower plus you bypass the line-up.
Once you reach the top of the tower you can test your nerve on the Glass Floor!!  The floor is 2 1/2” thick with each panel 42” x 50”.   You will be looking 1,122’ straight down below your feet!  We have been assured that the floor can withstand the weight of  “14 large hippos”.  It will be up to you to test that hypothesis!!
RIPLEY’S AQUARIUM  has just opened at the base of the CN Tower and is receiving rave reviews and rapidly becoming a huge international attraction.   It is 12,500 square metres with more than 5.7 million litres of water depicting freshwater habitats from around the world.   http://www.ripleyaquariums.com/canada/
I will be bringing you more fun places and things to do in Toronto ….. so watch this page!!
